Greater Cleveland Career Consortium Announces Leadership Transition

Cleveland, Ohio — March 13, 2026 — The Greater Cleveland Career Consortium (GCCC) today announced that Autumn R. Russell, Founding President & CEO, will conclude her leadership of the organization later this spring, marking the completion of a four-year chapter building the region’s career-connected learning ecosystem.

‍ ‍

Russell joined GCCC in 2022 as its founding leader and was charged with transforming a developing concept into a regional collaborative effort connecting education, workforce, and community partners. Under her leadership, GCCC established the infrastructure, partnerships, and strategy that now support the Planning & Career Exploration (PACE) initiative across Northeast Ohio.

‍ ‍

During Russell’s tenure, GCCC grew into a regional collective-impact organization engaging 11 school districts, more than 150 cross-sector partners, and 30,000 students in career exploration and workforce readiness opportunities. The organization has also secured more than $8 million in philanthropic and public investment to expand access to career-connected learning experiences for students throughout the region.

Autumn’s leadership has been instrumental in establishing GCCC and positioning the organization as a regional driver of career-connected learning,” said Jacob Duritsky, Chair of the GCCC Board of Trustees. “Her vision, persistence, and ability to convene partners across sectors laid the foundation for this work to grow and thrive.
Building GCCC alongside our school districts, community organizations, employers, and philanthropic partners has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my career,” Russell said. “What began as an ambitious idea has grown into a regional movement focused on ensuring young people have access to real pathways connecting education to career.
— Autumn Russell

The GCCC Board of Trustees will announce next steps regarding leadership as the organization continues advancing the PACE initiative and its mission to expand career-connected learning opportunities for students across Northeast Ohio.
