GCCC Acquires 501 (c)(3) Status

Cleveland, Ohio — March 18, 2026 — The Greater Cleveland Career Consortium (GCCC) proudly announces that it has officially received designation as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This milestone marks a significant step forward in the organization’s mission to expand career pathways, strengthen workforce development, and connect individuals across Northeast Ohio with meaningful career-connected learning opportunities.

The new nonprofit status allows GCCC to enhance its impact by securing grant funding, forming strategic partnerships, and increasing access to resources that support students in their career exploration and employers investing in local talent throughout the region.

Founded to address workforce gaps and improve economic mobility, the Greater Cleveland Career Consortium brings together educators, employers, community organizations, and workforce leaders to create innovative solutions that align talent with opportunity. As a recognized nonprofit, GCCC is now better positioned to serve as Northeast Ohio’s cross-sector regional convener.

GCCC’s focus areas include career readiness programming, employer engagement, industry partnerships, and workforce equity initiatives.
